Already in the first section, the Partizan basketball players scored 30 points, and at the end of this period, they gained a significant advantage for the first time, when before the last attack, Mega was +9. However, the beginning of the second quarter brought a turnaround for Mega, who managed to fight back and with a basket before the end of the 20th minute, she reached a two-point advantage.

 

After 32 points recieved in the second quarter, Partizan players reduced Mega to only 33 in the entire second half. And during the other 20 minutes of the game, several points series were seen on both sides. Partizan led by 12 points, Mega came back, even reached a turning point at one moment, but the black and whites managed to quickly regain the advantage, which became double-digit again after Dangubic’s dunk in the last attack. At the press conference held after the match, the coach of Partizan NIS, Aleksandar Matović, stated:

 

"As we said in the announcement of the match, we should expect one racing match, a match with a lot of jumps. We had such a game today. Both teams had some good periods. It may be more normal for the younger team to have oscillations than for us, but at this moment we have found a way to win, "said Matović.
