In their former home, Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in Novi Beograd, the black and whites defeated Mega Bemax and recorded their 7th triumph in the regional championship. In the hall filled with their fans, Partizan's players were down by 5 points after the 1st quarter. Even after 30 minutes, it was unclear which team would win, and the score was tied (66:66), but the black and whites settled the final quarter with 21 points more, for the convincing 77:98.

The crucial moments were at the end of the third and at the beginning of the fourth quarter, when Partizan NIS made a series of 14:0, and after that routinely finished the game. Paretizan NIS scored 15 three-pointer during the game, which is the new season record for the black and whites.

After the game, Partizan NIS coach, Andrea Trinchieri, said:

"Honestly, I expected a different game, with less points and tougher. We opened the game very badly in defense, we weren't focused enough, we passed the ball two times in a row between our players, and that made our game completely different. We were bad in the first 20 minutes, and in the following 20 we covered the basket, played defense, rebounded better, and in the end, I think that we deserved to win", Trinchieri concluded.
