Basketball players of Partizan NIS, in the quarterfinals of the national cup, will play against Borac from Cacak on February 11 in the Spens hall in Novi Sad. "Borac is a team that has beaten us twice this season, the guys deserve every respect, and we have to keep that in mind from the first moment of the game. The cup is such a competition that you don't have the right to make mistakes. Borac knows how to play, in both our matches, they showed that the ball is going fantastic for them, that they have great shooters in the team, that they know what they want, and it is up to us to prepare the answer to that and to go step by step. I am going to win the Cup. This competition is specific. It lasts four days, if we make it to the finals. We are going to Novi Sad to win the trophy. Partizan should not think differently," said the captain.
Partizan NIS coach Sasa Filipovski says before the final tournament of the "Radivoj Korac" Cup:
"I expect us to correct the mistakes we made in the last game against Borac, when we received too many points and had problems with the 1 on 1 game and the pick and pop game, we didn't have solutions for their mobile players and great width in attack. if they hit, they can get anyone. That's why we have to play good defense, with high concentration, and in attack we have to prepare for their different defenses. It's important to have concentration in attack and to be focused on the basics of the game. Width, extra pass, a brave shot and a good selection of passes - those things will decide the game and we pay the most attention to them, "Filipovski pointed out.
In Novi Sad, the colors of Partizan will be represented by the following 14 players: Novica Velickovic, Eric Mika, Rade Zagorac, Marcus Paige, Nemanja Dangubic, Ognjen Jaramaz, Josh Perkins, Nikola Jankovic, Nikola Radovanovic, Rashawn Thomas, Uros Trifunovic, Will Mosley, Mihailo Petrovic and Vidan Dronjak.
