For the second time in just seven days, Partizan NIS will compete with the team of Lokomotiva Kuban from Krasnodar. In the 4th round of the Top 16 phase of the 7Days Eurocup, the black and whites will meet the Russian team in the "Ranko Zeravica" Sports Hall, which won 74:67 last Wednesday. In the first three rounds, both teams have the score of one victory and two defeats.

ENHANCED CONTROL OF COMPLIANCE WITH EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MEASURES

Due to the appearance of a new strain of the Covid 19 virus, the control of compliance with epidemiological measures will be strengthened at the match of the 4th round of the 7Days Eurocup, while the number of those present in the hall will be reduced to an absolute minimum. It is expected that in this field, the control will be carried out by the competent state authorities.

Before tomorrow's match, NIS Partizan coach Sasa Filipovski says:

"We are aware that this is a very important match in which everything is possible and I hope that this match will be the best so far, that we will play it at the highest level because of its importance, but also because of ourselves. Lokomotiv is a strong team, with two new players, Goss and Gordon who had a good performance in the last game.

We play against a team that has individual quality, so I expect from my players to play as a team and to fight all 40 minutes, and to play as  team in defense and attack do our best to stop the strengths of Lokomotiva's individuals. The season is very turbulent and it affects all of us. We know that a lot is expected of us and we don't hide from it, as we expect a lot of ourselves. That is why the players have to put everything aside because this season without audience is a big blow for all teams that have a 'sixth player' in the stands, including Partizan. I believe that we would be able to turn some games in our favor with the support of our supporters, but all we play in these conditions where there are no fans. However, we are playing for our fans because we know what their expectations are and what Partizan is, so we have to continue to fight and believe in ourselves, "Filipovski said.

Black and white defender, Ognjen Jaramaz believes in victory:

"We know what the stakes are in this game and we know what we have to do if we want to place in the Top 8. It will not be easy, Lokomotiva is a great team, which they showed in Krasnodar. Compared to the team seven days ago, Drew Gordon and Williams-Goss will play tomorrow. However, I believe that with a good, concentrated game, we can win," Jaramaz said.
