Although the result was a draw after three quarters, the home team was more precise in the last quarter, so the points remained in Podgorica. Buducnost gained the advantage at the beginning of the game, but Partizan NIS fought back, reversed the result and came to a lead of five points difference. However, after the return of the home team, the black and whites had only a point advantage of 20:21 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Buducnost took the lead again, so they went to a fifteen-minute break with the result of 41:36.
In the continuation of the match, the teams took turns in the lead, so that in the last quarter, the host even reached a double-digit advantage at one moment. The black and whites managed to return to three points behind, but they did not manage to completely reverse the result, so the match ended with the result 80:72.
At the press conference held after the match, the coach of the black and whites, Sasa Filipovski, stated:
"I congratulate Buducnost on the victory. Today, Ivanovic was playful and hit shots, just like Della Valle. On the other hand, we had a good percentage for three points, but we missed a lot of shots under the basket. I congratulate Buducnost on the victory, and we will turn to the next game ", said Filipovski.
