Partizan’s convincing victory against Trento at the start of the Top 16 phase of the Eurocup

In the first round of the newly formed group F, Partizan NIS defeated Trento in the Sports Hall "Ranko Žeravica" with 71:43 (24:16, 11: 4, 19:10, 17:13).

The Steamroller started the Top 16 phase of the 7Days Eurocup in the best possible way! In the Sports Hall "Ranko Žeravica", the black and whites defeated Trento with 71:43 and thus achieved a triumph in the first game they played as hosts in the new year. Partizan NIS had the advantage during all 40 minutes, and already in the first section the difference became double-digit. Josh Perkins also recorded his first minutes in a black-and-white jersey, assisting Mosley for an attractive dunk in the first action.

By the end of the first quarter, the guests only managed to reduce the gap, so after the first ten minutes, the scoreboard read 24:16, until the black and whites went to a fifteen-minute break with an advantage of 35:20.

In the continuation of the match, a new series of Steamroller followed, this time 9:0, so Partizan NIS had a great 54:30 after the third quarter. In the last section, the guests from Italy did not manage to significantly threaten the black and whites, so after the 40 minutes, the scoreboard read 71:43 in favor of Partizan. At the press conference held after the match, the coach of the black and whites, Sasa Filipovski, stated: "I congratulate my players on their approach. We prepared well for this match and we did it on the floor. I am happy because of the guys who train hard and we are still looking for our constant form. We lost some tough games in the ABA league and we always work hard to show how much we are worth. I hope that now the players will see how much potential and strength they have. We have to get rid of fear and fight all 40 minutes ", said Filipovski.
