Partizan didn't make it in Athens

Partizan is defeated in Athens by the Greek side Panionios 72:67 (19:10, 21 : 25, 16 : 12, 16 : 20). Panionios played agressively and stopped the guys in black and white in the first half having the lead of 16 points at moments, but Partizan came back scoring several three point shots and playing better defensively.Partizan came back by Tripkovic's three for 68:66, but the host took the nerve and finished the game in their favour. "Circumstances around the very game prevented us of playing better in this game but it shouldn't have been this way on the court. We had too many oscilations during the game and Panionios deserved the win. We scored a regular three point shot, which is confirmed by the video, in the final second but it was disallowed which can be very bad for us in the next period of the competition. It is proven by this game that we are not yet tough enough to play against a rival with the wind blowing in our chests," said Dusko Vujosevic. Partizan: Tepic 19, Miloševic, Rašic 12, Tripkovic 11, Velickovic 8, Lasme 8, Aleksic, Vitkovac 5, Božic, Rakocevic, Vesely, Vraneš 4.
