Partizan is playing first home game in Basketball Champions League against Stelmet Zielona Gora
Game starts on Tuesday, November 1st at 18:00h. Dzikic: "We are working as best as we can with what we have."
After away games in Germany and Turkey, black and whites are expecting their first home game in Basketball Champions league with 1 win and 1 loss. On their European premiere, Partizan will face an experienced team of BC Stelmet Zielona Gora at “Aleksandar Nikolic” hall. In first two games, Polish team, also has 1 win and 1 loss.
In his pre match interview, head coach of BC Partizan NIS, Aleksandar Dzikic said:
"Our next opponent is again a team which has experience in Euroleague, and that says enough about the club and their organization. As for their lineup, they have very experienced guards and strong and active centers. After all, it is clear that our group is by far the toughest in this competition, but it is also clear that it will not change. We have accepted that, and we are working best as we can with what we have." - pointed out the coach of the black and whites.
One of the youngest players in black and whites squad, Vanja Marinkovic, points out that all of the attention is directed towards the match with Stelmet Zielona Gora.
"We always say that the first match is the most important one, because we have desire as well as the obligation to give our maximum every time. We are facing strong and experienced team, but we will get on court ready to give our best." - said Marinkovic.
