New head coach of Partizan NIS is Aleksandar Džikić

BC Partizan board and former coach, Petar Božić, ended the cooperation in mutual terms.  

BC Partizan NIS made a decision to change their head coach of the senior team, after yesterday’s match in Nikšić. Aleksandar Džikić will take over the team in the period ahead, instead of the capitain with the most trophies won in the history of the club, whom with the club the cooperation in mutual terms. Aleksandar Džikić worked as the coach of the national team of F.Y.R of Macedonia until June 2015. Before that he trained the team of BC Krka from Novo Mesto twice, trained BC Olimpija from Ljubljana and BC Lietuvos Rytas. Džikić had worked for two years as an assistant coach in Minnesota Timberwolves, before he went for solo engagements. He also worked as an assistant coach of BC Partizan, from 1999 until 2005.

The new coach of the black and whites has won the EuroChallenge Cup, has been National Champion of Slovenia four times, and has won two national cups of that country.

BC Partizan is thanking to Petar Božić on his committed work and on everything he’s done for the club. Humska 1 and Pionir Hall will always be the places where Petar Božić is going to be more than welcome.
