EL: Tepić and Rakočević no.1 'Top 10' move

Besides unsurmountable record Euroleague attendance of 22.567 ecstatic fans (4000 more than the previous record), Partizan players also put several signs on Panathinaikos match including the Top 10 no.1 move for Top16 Week 5!!! Tepić and Rakočević shook the stands with an outsdaning alley-oop action to hit the no.1 of Top 10. But that was not all from black and white guys as Tripković – Božić – Vesely one touch coast-to-coast action finished by a slam dunk finished 5th. This action is also chosen the best team play of the Week. Still not everything, as Stephane Lasme's high-flying 'Sears Tower' block shot on Kostas Tzartzaris hit the no.1 defensive play of the Week. The Euroleague.com special guest Jiri Zidek former Czech basketball star and NBA player (his NBA alias was George Zidek) did not hide his awe for his national 18-year-old wonder Jan Vesely and Partizan. "Being from the Czech Republic, I want to say how happy I am for Jan Vesely and Partizan and European basketball overall after the phenomenon we saw in Belgrade on Thursday. I have played and won final events in front of 35,000 people in college at UCLA and in the finals of the Euroleague with Zalgiris in Munich, but just watching the scene in Belgrade last night gave me goosebumps. What an atmosphere, really incredible: the fans, the flags, the singing, the cheering. I am happy that Jan is a part of that and played the most minutes on Partizan's team for that record-breaking game. Congratulations to the whole Partizan organization on the supreme job they are doing with young players. That certainly is the most pleasantly surprising team of the Euroleague season!", concluded Zidek
